How Mind Power Works

Mind Power contains a number of ingredients that have been known to have positive effects on mood, mental performance and overall wellbeing. We did not stick with one or two ingredients but packed an incredible 9 herbs into one formula to give you every chance of improving your mental health.

Research shows that ginkgo may improve mental performance in healthy people and further studies have also demonstrated a decrease in anxiety and depression for subjects who used ginkgo biloba for a few weeks. We have therefore made sure this key compound has not been neglected in our formula.

Phosphatidylserine 4% Complex is included in Mind Power because it covers and protects the cells in your brain and carries messages between them. Phosphatidylserine plays an important role in keeping your mind and memory sharp.

N-Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl, which we have mixed into this formula, can be especially useful for improving cognitive function, aiding in the lessening of mental fatigue so we have added enough of this to give your a mind a simulative reaction.

L Carnitine will gently stimulate the adrenal system for more energy and should support mitochondrial ATP production.

A very popular mental health aid is St. John's Wort. We wanted to ensure this was not ignored when creating Mind Power. St John's wort is a herbal remedy that has been used for hundreds of years to treat mental health problems. Today it is mainly used as an over-the-counter remedy to treat mild and moderate depression, and sometimes seasonal affective disorder (SAD), mild anxiety and sleep problems.

L-Glutamine is key to boosting your brain health which is why you will find this in the formula. The psychological standpoint, knows this amino as the calming one since it is very effective at reducing anxiety, as well as sugar and alcohol cravings.

We have really gone to work with Bacopa monnieri which has been used by Ayurvedic medical practitioners for thousands of years for a variety of purposes, including memory improvement, anxiety relief and treating epilepsy. This is yet further testament to our nutritionists who have gone as far as India to find the best herbs for your mental health.

Vinpocetine is a synthetic substance derived from an alkaloid compound found in the leaves of the Vinca minor, or lesser periwinkle plant, and Voacanga seeds. It's often used to improve memory or focus due to reported effects of increased blood flow to the brain.

And finally, we have added Huperzine-A. This acts as a cholinesterase inhibitor — a type of medication that works by improving the levels of neurotransmitters in the brain.
